How long should I leave Shake n Vac on carpet before vacuuming?

For a quick freshen-up, leave Shake n Vac on the carpet for around 10-15 minutes before vacuuming thoroughly. For stronger odours or a more intense fragrance, you can leave it for longer, even up to 24 hours, before vacuuming.

Can I leave Shake n Vac on the carpet for ongoing room fragrance?

Yes. Shake n Vac can also be sprinkled in an out-of-the-way area where it will not be disturbed, such as under a chair or under the bed. Leaving a small amount in these areas can provide ongoing fragrance and help keep the room smelling fresh for longer.

Only use this method in an area that children and pets cannot access or disturb, and avoid leaving it anywhere it could be disturbed or inhaled.

Does Shake n Vac clean carpets?

No. Shake n Vac is a carpet deodoriser and fragrance powder, not a carpet cleaning detergent. It is designed to help freshen carpets, rugs and mats. For stains, spills or deep cleaning, use a cleaning method suitable for your carpet type.

Can I use it around pets?

It can be used for pet areas when used as directed. Keep pets away from treated areas until the product has been fully vacuumed.
